Parking Information
If you’re new to the area, we suggest giving yourself plenty of time to find a parking spot in order to make it to the Opera House on time!
The Rochester Opera House does not have a dedicated parking facility. Free parking is available on most city streets. There are also multiple municipal parking lots nearby.
Municipal parking is available behind and adjacent to City Hall. You can find other free municipal lots on Union Street (behind Revolution Taproom), on North Main Street (across from Lilac City Grill), on South Main Street (at the Rochester Public Library), on Congress Street, and Columbus Avenue.
Please note that parking is not allowed in the One Wakefield residential lot directly across from Magrilla’s Restaurant on Hanson Street. The Rochester Opera House has no control over this lot. You will absolutely get towed by Tri-City Towing. The Rochester Opera House and the City of Rochester are not responsible for towing fees.
